ecdysterone vs. steroids?

April 24th, 2010

ok now, i know the dangers of anabolic steroids and dont plan on ever using anything like anabol for example. what makes steroids so dangerous? is it the change in hormone? ive been doing research and i heard that ecdysterone is non hormonal and has no known side effects, but is still “anabolic.” the word anabolic makes me nervous. this supplement is pretty cheap and has great results with no side effects? has anyone used ecdysterone? im interested but dont want to have problems later in life.

Usually supplements are marketed as anabolic to make them look like they are somehow related to steroids. It’s a common ploy but some products marketed as anabolic may actually be just that.

Here’s a site that has some good info on ecdysterone:

Steroids in moderation are actually pretty safe. The media has blown the risk WAAAAYYYY out of proportion. A moderate cycle of deca, and some form of test will put on 25-30 lbs of muscle in 12 weeks. Heres the real danger though.
    1. If your a nice guy, your ok. If your an A**HOLE, you will become a bigger A**HOLE.
    2. After the cycle, you will shrink a bit. If you accept this, fine. If you take roids to keep from shrinking, it will never end, you will never come off and you will die.
    3. You will get a few zits, and depending on genes, you may accelerate hair loss (not on a light cycle though).
now given the ups and downs of roids (did I mention your sex drive will go thru the ROOF!), there is one more hard fact. there are 3 kinds of supplements. those that do nothing, those that do very little, and steroids. RESEARCH and make an informed decision.
